A story that began 77 years ago

In Cesana Since 1943

The doors of Ferragut's opened for the first time in the winter of 1943 from owners Emma and Giuseppe

Emma was in charge of the clients coming in through the shop's doors while Giuseppe was busy delivering wine throughout the valley.

With the years and with the generational management change, the shop has gone through several renovations, both aesthetic and not but always maintaining the same spirit and charisma.

Today Rosella is in charge of managing the shop, she has carved her career around her passion for wines.

During her 40 years experience in the shop, she has transformed it in what it is today, making it a must-see destination amongst the villages in the valley.

Today we are proud to affirm that for over 70 years we have been a constant reality in the area, offering a service to tourists and locals for 12 months a year

A Dive In To The Past

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, in a refined and warm space, obtained from an ancient 18th century stable
You can find a collection of local products including some of the best Italian wines, particularly wines from the Piedmont region.

Our Wines

Come and choose between over 150 different wines amongst national and international producers.

You will also be able to choose amongst a wide selection of wines from Tuscany, South Tyrol, and Sicily; together with the finest Italian wines such as Masseto, Tignanello, Sassicaja and many others.

His Majesty: il Genepy

Genepy is an absolute stable here in the valley. The plant used to produce this liqueur grows in the Alps at an altitude between 1900 and 3000 meters above sea level.

You can chose between several recipes of Genepy including our secret recipe. nostra ricetta, which has been part of our tradition for more than 70 years.

When ski gears still were not as professional and technical as they are today, the skier recurred to the good old flask of liquor to face the coldest altitude temperatures

times have changed, yes, but the good habits remain

Besides various types of Genepy, we offer a wide range of selection of Grappas, Amari, Digestives all of which you can use to fill your flask and never be cold again.
